REALISE THE DEPTHS OF YOUR POTENTIAL

PADI Basic Freediver Course

A "lite" version of the full PADI Freediver™ Course

The PADI Basic Freediver course is a subset of the PADI Freediver™ course. It’s a great first step for developing solid freediving skills.

This course is for anyone wishing to learn basic freediving principles and focus on practicing breath hold techniques in a pool or confined water site.

The PADI Basic Freediver course consists of two main phases:

  • Knowledge development through independent study with the PADI Freediver eLearning and a theory class with your instructor.

  • Confined water session to learn breathhold techniques as well as  static and dynamic apnea, plus proper buddy procedures. Goal – static apnea of 90 seconds and dynamic apnea of 25 metres.

Beyond Depth Freediving also includes a breath workshop with this course.

This teaches us to relax, breath correctly and shut-out the outside world, while focusing inwardly to help realise our greatest potentials.

Minimum age: 12 years old.

Pool Freediving Training

Coaching/Training for individuals and small groups

If you are a certified freediver and wish to improve your abilities, the pool may be a great option!

Pool training is great for increasing you Carbon Dioxide tolerance, improving your technique in various disciplines and for working on your relaxation and comfort in the water.

It is also great for building general fitness and stamina.

Beyond Depth Freediving caters for individuals and small groups.

Whether you are wanting to train for an increase in breath hold ability (bottom time for the spearo's out there), better efficiency through the water, better relaxation during your time underwater or if you are working towards a trip somewhere and you want to be in tip-top shape, Beyond Depth can work with you to achieve your goals.

Contact us to discuss how we may work together to develop a program that suits your needs (One-off sessions are also welcome).

For Certified Freedivers Only
